Do we have to add a protector between the mattress and the dust mite proof

 cover? 

ProtecSom dust mite proof covers are dust proof and allergen proof but they are also breathable (they allow the perspiration to pass through the cover) and are not completely waterproof.

Consequently, ProtecSom advices to keep the usual protector in case of urinal leaks. This protector has to be set up between the dust mite proof cover and the sheet. (!on the cover or under the sheet but not under the covers)
