The company has forged partnerships with
public and private organizations based in
Normandy (hospital departments, territorial
communities, etc.)
This partnerships policy and the company's
investments in research and development,
which represented 14% of its sales turnover
in 2007, allowed Protec’Som® to
provide, in recent years, several innovating
processes, four of which have been
patented.
Among these processes, two concern
allergen-proof solutions, specifically at
the weaving and the assembly levels. They
are already applied to dust mite proof
covers, currently sold by Protec’Som®.
They offer clear advantages in terms of
efficiency and comfort.
Other programs are being developed, such as
Protexoderm®.
This combination protects the skin of atopic
dermatitis sufferers and is being clinically
evaluated.
